The Hindi Programming Language (HPL) is a programming language in Hindi targeting the huge base of Hindi speaking population.

However yet it supports only console applications but soon it is planned to support Windows Forms etc. The IDE and the compiler is built with .NET Framework 2.0 and thus designed primarily for Windows platform. The programs are compiled to Microsoft Intermediate Language (MSIL) that can run on any machine where .NET runtime 2.0 is installed.

Objective:
The SKTN Hindi Programming Language is primarily developed for imparting basic programming knowledge to those who are new to programming and are less comfortable with English, so that they can use their native language to understand the concepts of programming and undertake SKTN Hindi Programming Language as their first step towards the field of programming. The language and the associated IDE are intended to be kept as a freeware forever.
